Dr. César Galván – Retina and Vitreous Specialist
Dr. César Galván graduated from the Medical Surgeon career with Honorable Mention of Excellence from the School of Medicine of the Universidad del Noreste in Tampico, Tamaulipas.
He carried out his social service in the highland region of the State of Tamaulipas, where he attended countless cases with difficulty in accessing health services, in different rural communities, gaining the recognition of his patients and health authorities.
Later, he specialized in Ophthalmology at the prestigious Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, also carried out clinical rotations in the Retina and Vitreous Service at the Mexican Institute of Ophthalmology in Querétaro and at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Center in Barcelona, Spain.
Continuing with his academic training, he completed a High Specialty in Retina and Vitreous Surgery at the Zambrano Hellion Hospital endorsed by the TecSalud School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Monterrey, Nuevo León. During this period, he also provided consultation services and performed surgeries of his specialty to people with limited resources at the Santos y de la Garza Evia Foundation in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León.
He is certified by the Mexican Council of Ophthalmology and is member of the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology. He has collaborated in different international publications and is constantly updated by regularly attending meetings and congresses in his specialty.
